FAQ
Do we need Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?
No. Workplace works standalone. If you have room calendars, paste their secret ICS address and we mirror events every 5 minutes; people subscribe to their bookings via ICS.
Which door-sign hardware works?
Any Android tablet (kiosk mode) or an e-ink sign that can download a PNG and report battery – Joan/Visionect-class devices or our ESP32 reference. Signs are managed with your other screens.
Can employees book from Slack or Teams?
Yes. A slash command or Teams outgoing webhook answers “what’s free”, books a room for a time and lists your bookings. Notifications go to a channel via webhook.
